Huh? GOP Donors Won't Fund GOP-ers
Interesting post tonight on The Hill.
Puzzling to say the least.
Strangest thing I've read in awhile.
Maybe the election has finally fried the white matter inside the
Republicans head. (It would be an insult to the white matter to call it a
brain inside a Republican's head.)

The argument will rage for eternity about why some people self-identify as

that GlaxoSmithKline has a drug that makes you not just gay, but a gay sex

52 year-old Didier Jambart has Parkinson's Disease and has been taking

Fun Time
Had a fun weekend.
Saturday night, we went to my friend, Nicole's fundraiser at a local
bowling alley to raise money for the 3 day breast cancer walk she does each
year with her Mom. We bowled two games, had pizza, there was a raffle and
a 50/50 drawing. Had a blast bowling, and hanging with Kurt, Nicole, Harry

with his iPad, so we had great music all night as well.

Vegas for Thanksgiving
Kurt and I took a trip to Vegas for Thanksgiving. Had an awesome time, as
usual.
We stayed at the MGM Signature. Pros: the room was HUGE, we had a balcony
overlooking the Strip, two bathrooms, including a huge master suite, quiet,
great fitness room for working out. Cons: only valet parking. That annoys
us, as we hate waiting for our car and would rather walk to a parking spot.
another pro was the room was free with airline miles. A con for some
would be it was slightly off strip, but since we rent a car, this is
actually a pro for us since the Strip is so traffic filled. I... more »

The Myth of Austerity, by Philip Bagus
*Guest post by Philip Bagus*
Many politicians and commentators such as Paul Krugman claim that Europe's
problem is austerity, i.e., there is insufficient government spending.
The common argument goes like this: Due to a reduction of government
spending, there is insufficient demand in the economy, leading to
unemployment. The unemployment makes things even worse as aggregate demand
falls even more, causing a fall in government revenues and an increase in
government deficits.
European governments pressured by Germany (which did not learn from the supposedly
fateful policie... more »

Is the “fiscal cliff” real or just another hoax? The answer is that the
fiscal cliff is real, but it is a result, not a cause. The hoax is the way
the fiscal cliff is being used.
The fiscal cliff is the result of the inability to close the federal budget
deficit. The budget deficit cannot be closed because large numbers of US
middle class jobs and the GDP and tax base associated with them have been
moved offshore, thus reducing federal revenues. The fiscal cliff cannot be
closed because of the unfunded liabilities of eleven years... more »

Brzezinski’s Lament
Zbigniew Brzezinski

Adask's Law
Zbigniew Brzezinski is a Democrat who served as America’s 10th National Security
Advisor from A.D. 1977 through A.D. 1981 under the Jimmy Carter
administration.
It strikes me as unusual, odd, even disturbing that Brzezinski became our
National Security Advisor in A.D. 1977 since he’d already published his
book *Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era* in A.D.
1970. Why? Because in that book, he predicted and apparently advocated
the control of populations by an elite political class via technetronic ... more »
i'm back and i'm done
Another semester is behind me! I've now completed seven of eight terms, 14
of 16 courses. The expression "can't wait" doesn't begin to describe how
eager I am to finish my degree next spring.
Quitting my oppressive law-firm job continues to pay dividends every single
day. I'm enjoying my life again. I am actually breathing more deeply. As is
so often the case with tension and anxiety, I didn't fully realize how much
that job was affecting me until I left.
Going to school part-time and working one part-time job has been a breeze,
especially now that I've got the school thing figure... more »
How Hamas (and the PA) brianwash children to hate Jews & to want to kill them and the result of this brainwashing
Just one example of the brainwashing
Nassur, the bear puppet host on a Hamas children's TV program, uses
different words for "slaughter" to describe how to rid Israel of Jews.
First, the bear states that all Jews must be "erased from our land." Later
he adds, "We want to slaughter them, Saraa, so they will be expelled from
our land." He repeats, "...We'll have to [do it] by slaughter." He first
uses the Arabic expression for "slaughter," "Nidbah-hom," and later uses
the word "Shaht."

Increasing Tax Rates On 98% Of Americans-- Republican Party Deranged Hostage Taking
Last summer Reid thought it might take Vice President Biden to break the
tie and help Democrats pass an extension of the Bush tax cuts for the
first
$250,000 of income for everyone. With Biden presiding, it passed
51-48without his vote, only Joe Lieberman and Jim Webb from the
Democratic side
of the aisle joining every single Republican to oppose it. Then Cantor
and
Boehner refused to even let the House consider it. So now we'll on the
verge on tax rates going up on everyone. It shouldn't be, but this has
been
swept up into the definition of the terrorist tactic our political,

First Rate Intelligence?
Ever since the United Nations vote on Thursday, the Harper government has
portrayed itself as a beautiful loser. It and eight other nations -- most
notably the United States -- voted against support for Palestine. Canada,
say the Harperites, is on the side of moral clarity. Haroon Siddiqui wrote
yesterday in the *Toronto Star* that:
The vote was overwhelming, more than two-thirds in favour — 138 for, 9
against and 41 abstentions. Much to Canada’s shame, Foreign Affairs
Minister John Baird was among the loudest pipsqueak noises against the tide
of history.
Even the United States,... more »
