Conscious Awareness - towards a Noetic World...

Are we imprisoned in this artificial world? Must we live with wars, fear, confusion, illness, greed, bigotry and knowledge that at best is incoherent? Who are we then, each of us, in that world? Noetic sciences confront us with these questions. Noetic means 'inner knowing', in a way comparable to what some call 'intuitive knowledge'. Sounds a bit fuzzy and confusing, but it isn't. The word was coined in 1973 by astronaut Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man on the Moon, who -upon returning to Earth- had a peak experience that changed his life. He felt himself engulfed by a profound sense of universal connectedness — an epiphany. Together with a group of likewise thinking scientists he founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences to explore a more expanded, more inclusive view of reality. A complete reality that goes beyond the individual physical and material phenomena of traditional sciences. IONS-President Marilyn Schlitz explains: "Through "inattentional blindness" we overlook opportunities to make positive, life-enhancing transformations, even in moments of deep challenges." Research has been translated into practicable programs, she continues: "At the heart of a global shift is the evolution of consciousness. For more than 35 years, IONS has been a respected leader in advancing our understanding of the powers and potentials of consciousness. We have discovered over and over again that our personal transformation and collective evolution are intertwined."

There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio', Shakespeare wrote in his 'Hamlet'. In a way this applies to the world of noetic sciences as well. The library of the IONS offers many insights in our problem with conscious awareness. For example how to discover one's potentials, the power of the inner-world in unison with nature to make a shift in our daily life. No longer a life of servitude, dependency and unawareness, but life-affirming and living deeply. Mitchell saw this 'cosmic connection' when traveling to the Moon. He noticed the missing link that permeates through our materialistic, artificial society. His research revealed the existence of 'samadhi', the integrated state of consciousness. Not as some mystical experience, but as a life-changing attribute for everybody. A way to change the world by changing yourself! Why wait any longer? Let's change this world..

Asteroid impact 2008 TC3 - or how Earth escaped from calamity

Life is full of peril. Am I kicking in an open door? What about the hundreds of airplanes flying around above us and their safety when something unexpected from outerspace rains down? That happened the night of October 7, 2008. Although its arrival wasn't unexpected! A fast tumbling asteroid had entered a collision course with our planet, which was noticed by an astronomer a little less than 24 hours before impact. At 6:39 UT (or GMT) on the morning of October 6, 2008, Richard Kowalski, at the Catalina Sky Survey, discovered the small near-Earth asteroid using a telescope near Tucson, Arizona. His sighting was confirmed by 3 observatories, one in Australia. What happened next is an example of creative sciences swiftly cooperating to assess the options and meet the challenge this impact could have. The Dutch KLM 747 flight 592 from Johannesburg to Amsterdam, flying at 34.000 feet altitude above Chad was alerted to have a sharp lookout. Its position that night wasn't too far from the calculated impact zone...

Calculations learned within hours after its discovery that the tumbling rock was small, probably less than 10 feet in diameter. Due to this size it would break up when entering the atmosphere at an altitude between 65 and 37 kilometers. The debris would rain down on a remote location in Sudan. The total energy that would be annihilated in the atmosphere wasn't more about 2 kilo-ton of TNT. Still enough to be noted as a shockwave by an infra sound array listening post in Kenya. The pilots of the KLM flight 592 did report the fiery trail of the descending mini-asteroid, as well as the webcam of some holiday resort in Egypt. Even Meteosat-8, a European weather satellite, recorded a few images with explosive flashes on it. Nobody was hurt by the hot stones falling from the skies, this time, it was said. Debris was found.

However, the incident reveals a paradox as well. What if this object was a larger asteroid, hundreds of feet across, discovered 72 hours or slightly less in advance, descending -for instance- near New York, Berlin, Melbourne or Beijing? Many millions of people live there and 3 days do pass too quickly to evacuate everybody! This apart from the fact that between discovery and coordinated actions pass many hours for re-assessment, planning and organization of actions! What to do when the final 24 hours tick away and fairly well is understood what the consequences will be? Emily Lakdawalla from the 'Planetary Society' wrote: "If we'd had three days' warning of a dangerous impactor heading for Sudan, what could the world have done? The remote location of the impact would have been fortunate for humanity in general, but disastrous for the few people who lived out in that remoteness. Could the developed world have done anything to prevent yet another humanitarian disaster from befalling the Sudanese?" Yes, we were lucky this time, but the incident left us with much to think about!

Morgellons: Nanofibers of doom come to eat you!!! Teh w0w Awesome conspiracy of fibers!!1!!

Once in a rare while you come across a truly impressive conspiracy theory, one that rises above mere 'urban legend' status to give you the Creepy Crawlies and inspire a really sweet movie. Morgellons are that theory. The screenplay awaits.

The idea is that some people manifest mysterious fibers coming out of lesions in their body. Mysterious nano-fibers of unknown origin, growing out of wounds, transmitting radio and electromagnetic energy. Microscopic observation shows suffers' skin seething with fibrous materials under the skin. Tests show it's a non-biological material. It's not just lint on a sticky rash. But tests also show latent infections in many: for indeed, Lyme Disease, found in many Morgellon's sufferers, suggests a complex of infestations which erode immunity response.

There is a long-familiar disease called delusional parasitosis, which is the 'bugs under your skin psychosis' thing.

Fusion Centers going to fuse the future & NATO PSYOPS info operations schema exposed

As people lose confidence in the ability of markets and governments to solve the global crisis, they are likely to erupt into violent protests or to assault others they deem responsible for their plight, including government officials, plant managers, landlords, immigrants and ethnic minorities. (The list could, in the future, prove long and unnerving.) If the present economic disaster turns into what President Obama has referred to as a "lost decade," the result could be a global landscape filled with economically fueled upheavals.

Indeed, if you want to be grimly impressed, hang a world map on your wall and start inserting red pins where violent episodes have already occurred. Athens (Greece), Longnan (China), Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Riga (Latvia), Santa Cruz (Bolivia), Sofia (Bulgaria), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Vladivostok (Russia) would be a start. Many other cities from Reykjavik, Paris, Rome and Zaragoza to Moscow and Dublin have witnessed huge protests over rising unemployment and falling wages that remained orderly thanks in part to the presence of vast numbers of riot police. If you inserted orange pins at these locations -- none as yet in the United States -- your map would already look aflame with activity.

Kuntsler says it's one of those times when the abyss looks back at you. In that, he's right. I mean, it definitely feels like about halfway to the Eschaton right now.

Meanwhile there are a debt-financed $250 million for fusion centers: Stimulus bill has $250m for fusion centers -- Federal Computer Week:

An economic stimulus package that the Senate is set to consider would provide $250 million for state and locally-run information sharing and coordination centers that are part of anti-terrorism efforts.

The Senate's $888 billion measure would include $250 million to modify existing state and local emergency operations centers and intelligence fusion centers or to build new ones. The $819 billion economic stimulus bill The House passed Jan. 28 did not authorize the same funding.

The fusion centers and emergency operations centers use technology and information technology to improve information sharing, situational awareness and coordination, and the Bush administration made fusion centers central to efforts to share terrorism-related information between federal and non-federal authorities.

The centers are owned and operated by states and local governments, and many of the more than 50 centers rely heavily on Homeland Security Department grants administered by DHS’ Federal Emergency Management Agency.

"Emergency operations centers" are the flip side of the Department of Homeland Security's increasing cash/grant powers around the country - many states have "Homeland Security and Emergency Management" departments. Us Mac students heard directly one time from fomer St. Paul DFL Mayor Randy Kelly that his endorsement of Bush had paved the way to extra emergency gear getting awarded from those corrupt apparachiks in DHS.

Fusion centers are an overlooked element of the emergent nationwide law-and-order Great Leap Forward. And very important. Fusion centers are basically heavily contractor-run headquarters for different law enforcement and increasingly military-supplied outposts of Total Situational Awareness.

American Civil Liberties Union : What's Wrong With Fusion Centers - Executive Summary

A new institution is emerging in American life: Fusion Centers. These state, local and regional institutions were originally created to improve the sharing of anti-terrorism intelligence among different state, local and federal law enforcement agencies. Though they developed independently and remain quite different from one another, for many the scope of their mission has quickly expanded - with the support and encouragement of the federal government - to cover "all crimes and all hazards." The types of information they seek for analysis has also broadened over time to include not just criminal intelligence, but public and private sector data, and participation in these centers has grown to include not just law enforcement, but other government entities, the military and even select members of the private sector.

UK Home Educators Under Threat

The Uk Govt is planning to stop people home educating their children, another ancient right being removed.

Please help us keep our freedom to home educate as we, and our children, see fit.

Please support us in petitioning the Prime Minister of Great Britain to reject the recommendations of the Report to the Secretary of State on the Review of Elective Home Education in England by Graham Badman. This report is a totally disproportionate response to a ‘perceived’ problem full of unsubstantiated allegations that home educated children are more at risk of abuse than those at school. This simply is not true, as the report itself makes clear. Enacting the recommendations in this report would establish the state as “parent of first resort”, even though current legislation makes parents responsible for providing a suitable education for their children.

The report proposes to introduce monitoring and registration of home educators. Local officials would be given automatic access to private homes to interview children without their parents or any other trusted adult present. This is outrageous and a serious challenge to civil liberties. Registration may be refused or revoked on safeguarding grounds, though so far it is unclear what these grounds may be and Badman in his report stated that such grounds could be “any other concerns” that the local official had. Under such conditions, “registration” could really mean “permission” especially when home educators come up against inspectors who are anti-home education.

The proposals also introduce the need for the parent to submit an approved 12 month plan and for their child to “exhibit” at the end of the year that their plan has been successfully implemented. This will put an end to autonomous education/unschooling, as any such child-led philosophy would be decimated by having to implement such a structured scheme. This would also seriously curtail the flexibility that many structured home educators enjoy.

Across many countries there seems to be an attempt to undermine home education and to make sure that all children receive the state’s approved version of education, Sweden is moving to ban home education and it is already against the law in Germany.

Please help us stop this happening in England. This is becoming a global problem for home educators/homeschoolers. Let us unite and say with one big voice, “enough is enough!”

We the undersigned call upon the Prime Minister of Great Britain to reject the recommendations of the Report to the Secretary of State on the Review of Elective Home Education in England by Graham Badman.
